Christopher Robin Nursery School is an energised, lively and engaging environment where children from 18 months to 6 years old are encouraged to be curious, creative and collaborative within a warm and nurturing community of inspiring and dedicated staff.

We believe that the foundations of learning, values, character and relationships are laid in childhood and so we nurture the future citizens of our country, our society and our world within an ethos that is respectful of others, simultaneously diverse, valuing differences and filled with opportunities to grow and learn in every aspect. The school is run on Christian principles, where the name of Jesus is upheld and honoured in everything we do.

Recognising that learning through play is an essential component of childhood, we work within a playful context that motivates and engages our children, giving them a voice and developing their confidence.

The education of our children is child-centered, emphasising the uniqueness of each individual. Our children experience the excitement and achievement of learning new concepts and skills through teaching methods that stimulate, motivate and encourage each child to achieve to his or her full potential, taking into account each child’s individual talents and needs. The programme focuses on play and the child’s innate curiosity whilst ensuring that the perceptual, social and emotional foundations of academic learning are developed.
